AK47 And Other Guns
The Vietnam War has been forgotten by many, these large wall portraits in the exhibition at Carlshütte-Büddelsdorf (SH) Germany show a connection that may not be immediately clear to many, since some cannot interpret the AK-47 brought in by the artist. This rifle was the AK-47 the standard weapon of the Viet Cong and far too many died with it in hand.
It is also interesting that the young woman walks past here in front of the first picture in an army style jacket, unconsciously clear but also appropriate to the topic.
Drawn on the face
Personally, I find it a great implementation of the subject and an excellent artistic performance by the actor. Excellently presented in this large context of the exhibition!
